Who We’re Looking For
Jaxel is seeking an AI Engineer to join our cutting-edge team.
What You’ll Do
- Design and Development: Architect, build, and maintain a sophisticated agentic application capable of dynamic reasoning and tool-use.
- Model Integration: Select, integrate, and manage the flexible use of various reasoning models to process user intent.
- SQL Generation: Develop and fine-tune the system’s ability to reliably and deterministically translate user intent into accurate SQL queries.
- Fulfillment Layer: Collaborate with the team to ensure the seamless connection and data flow between the reasoning layer and the Jinja-based fulfillment layer.
- Fine-Tuning & Training: Fine-tune and train models on domain-specific data, with a strong focus on finance expertise to enhance the accuracy and relevance of the output.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the DevOps Engineer and other stakeholders to ensure the application is scalable, efficient, and meets business requirements.
What You’ll Need
- Experience: Proven experience in AI/ML engineering, particularly with building and deploying agentic systems.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and related AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Agentic Frameworks: Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks like LangChain, Langgraph, CrewAI, or similar.
- LLMs: Deep understanding of Large Language Models and their architectures (e.g., Mixtral, GLM 4.5).
- Data & Databases: Expertise in SQL, data processing, and an understanding of how to generate and execute queries.
- Cloud: Familiarity with AWS services relevant to AI/ML (e.g., Sagemaker, EC2, S3).
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on building deterministic and reliable systems.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in the finance domain is a strong plus.
