Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to participate in a project to build a BigData AI-powered user persona profile management and recommendation platform. As a part of our Engineering team, you’ll work alongside talented engineers to build reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for the platform.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain a reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure for the platform
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for building and deploying platform components
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions
- Work closely with the product engineering team to stay abreast of upcoming feature requirements and refinements
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with relational databases: PostgreSQL
- Experience with NoSQL databases: at least one (Mongo, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Clickhouse, CockroachDB)
- Experience with messaging solutions: Kafka
- Experience with caching solutions: Redis
- Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert Manager is preferred
- Containerization technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, DockerCompose
- Kubernetes package managers: Helm is preferred
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible
- Experience building CI/CD for microservices and infrastructure: GitLab, ArgoCD
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Knowledge in system and application performance metrics.
- Experience with one of the following scripting languages: Python, Bash
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- English: B2 (written and spoken communication)
Will be a plus:
- Experience with other cloud providers: GCP, Azure, etc.
- Experience building cloud-agnostic solutions and SaaS
- Experience with Spark and building CI/CD pipelines for Spark Jobs
- Experience with Airflow
- Experience with ElasticSearch/OpenSearch
- Experience with Python microservices and the ecosystem
- Change Data Capture setup: Debezium, Kafka Conectors
