We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer with experience in the Robot Framework and Python to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our products.
What You’ll Do
- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Robot Framework and Python.
- Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team.
- Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and create comprehensive test plans for new features and releases.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of our test automation framework and processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in test automation using the Robot Framework and Python.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with API testing and performance testing tools.
- Experience in testing cloud-based applications and microservices architecture.
