Who We’re Looking For

Jaxel is looking for a skilled and proactive Data Scientist who will shape company’s next-generation AI models across document understanding, medical code inference, and anomaly detection. Partner with product and data engineering to deploy production-ready architectures.

What You’ll Do
  • Agent Architecture: Architect conversational and task-oriented agents using LangGraph, MCP, or similar frameworks.

  • Production Delivery: Own end-to-end development and deployment of at least one production-level AI agent, from prototype to monitoring.

  • Workflow Orchestration: Design and orchestrate multi-agent pipelines integrating external data sources and service APIs.

  • Tool Integration: Adapt and integrate existing agent tools and logging platforms (e.g., LangSmith, LangFuse) for document analysis, medical code inference, and alert triage.

  • Performance Tuning: Optimize agents for latency, throughput, and reliability in high-demand environments.

  • Mentorship & Standards: Guide mid- to junior-level engineers, define best practices and standards for code quality and deployment.

What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning or deep learning engineering.

  • Expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow, and the Hugging Face ecosystem.

  • Proven experience with NLP, VLMs, and graph neural networks.

  • Familiarity with model optimization techniques (fine-tuning, LoRA, quantization, pruning).

  • Solid MLOps knowledge: containerization, CI/CD for ML, and model monitoring.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
