Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a smart, talented and highly motivated Frontend Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering Team. In this role you will be responsible for building consumer-facing web features on our platform. You will help drive excellent overall performance and code quality of the application through meticulous, top-notch web platform maintenance.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, Backend Engineers and Quality Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
  • Architect efficient systems that drive complex web interactions and rich experiences
  • Deliver features and enhancements to Products that are secure, well-tested and performant
  • Contribute reusable front-end components to internal component library

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

  • 5+ years professional experience with React REQUIRED
  • 5+ years JavaScript including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
  • 5+ years of HTML/CSS including layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, accessibility
  • 5+ years experience with browser APIs and optimizing front end performance
  • 3+ years leading a team and/or project
  • Cloud deployment using AWS or other clouds
  • Automated testing (Cypress, Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape, etc)
  • Positive, solution oriented approach and mindset required
  • Effective communication skills, regularly achieve consensus with peers, clear status updates
  • Jenkins CI pipelines and automation experience
  • Diagnosing, repairing and preventing performance and optimization problems success
  • Git experience in a workspace environment
  • Working knowledge of Server Side React (Next.js) and/or Server Side APIs (ExpressJS, Restify) nice to have
  • Experience with Thrift, GRPC, Websockets nice to have
  • Product and/or Enterprise company experience nice to have

Recruiting process:

  1. Non-technical interview – 30 minutes introduction call.
  2. Technical interview  – 1-2 hours depending on the grade of the candidate. Includes an assessment of your technical skills in the context of the technology stack declared in the vacancy and the total work experience in the profession. At the interview, you may be asked to perform a technical test (live coding).
