If you are an experienced Lead Site Reliability Engineer, join our Jaxel worldclass team and make a difference for our client’s project in changing the way digital products are built. 

We are always trying to understand the business goals of our engineering teams, and prepare for their arrival so they can ship impressive, reliable, powerful, effective and safe products as quickly as possible. 

As a part of the creating opportunities team for all Engineering teams You’ll be responsible for infrastructure, operations, observability, and engineering tooling for AWS and Kubernetes-based compute, data, and eventing infrastructure support. And one of the main objectives you will work on this project is to create digital products that help customers to be better in the management of their own services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to assembling leading cloud infrastructure tools to meet the needs of product-engineering teams
  • Contribute improvements in the tools back to the open source community
  • Work cross-functionally by partnering with product engineering teams to improve their developer experience and assist them with transitioning their services to new observability tooling and infrastructure
  • Strive to improve operations, reliability, and observability of platform and product workloads
  • Should be on-call 1 week every 6 weeks for the infrastructure we support

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years experience with AWS, Kubernetes, HashiCorpTerraform, Linux
  • Interest in or familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana, HashiCorp Vault, Golang, OpenTelemetry, Open Policy Agent
  • Compassion for product engineers operating their own services on the infrastructure we manage
  • Bias towards results, absolute willingness to own the problem and drive towards a speedy solution; you won’t stop until the problem is solved with an effective solution
  • Hands on experience building systems’ extensions and infrastructure solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Recruiting process:

  • Non-technical interview – 30 minutes introduction call.
  • Technical interview (2 rounds on 2 different days) – 1.5-2 hours depending on the grade of the candidate. At the interview, you may be asked to present your portfolio or developed website with your design.
